"Lemonade? They want lemonade? What is the world coming to? I want commercials for burgers on all channels, every 15 minutes. We are the Home of the Original Burger, not a hippie health haven. And place a billboard next to that new house on the corner. I want them craving beer every second they sit in their posh new garden." The new management trainee trembles in front of the CEO and tries to politely point out that ...

"How do you mean, we don't have enough staff? The HR director reports to you. Hire more people! Train them! But whatever you do, don't pay them any real wages. I did not go into business to become poor. And fire that discount manager, she is only costing me money. From now on, we'll sell gourmet burgers. Same crap, double the price. Get my marketing director in here!"

Food Chain Magnate is a heavy strategy game about building a fast food chain. The focus is on building your company using a card-driven (human) resource management system. Players compete on a variable city map through purchasing, marketing and sales, and on a job market for key staff members.

Many decisions but not too many rules

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

As heavy as people say this game is, the rules are fairly easy to understand. how many options you have available to you can be too much sometimes, but often the game ends too fast before you realize you made a mistake.

one of the best strategy games on the market. Hard to find a copy though so make sure to wishlist it.

A great asset Management Game

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

This game is by far one of the best strategy games I have ever played. You advertise, adjust your price, and hopefully move your product while competing with the other players. Shame it is out of stock right now.

Deep strategy high cost big fun

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

Production values aside this game is a real gem. If it was not for the high price which I am told is due to small print runs I would give this game five stars all around. This game is strategic and it is deep and I can't stop thinking about it. The funny thing is I owned it for a year and never played it because no one thought it would be any fun. Boy were we wrong!

Love it to death

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

This game is long, thinky, unforgiving, aesthetically bland, and unbelievably good. This is the first game I've ever obsessed about after playing. The strategic depth is amazing and player interaction is both nuanced and impactful. The rules aren't particularly complex, but every decision you make is important to you and every other person at the table. Each choice is simple, but its consequences are not. There are few games I truly consider works of art and this is one of them.
