Another great faction
Buffs and rebuffs are the playstyle. Very Control oriented but no slouch in straight offense/defense. Mid-level or less difficulty, so great for any player. Card art is better than most decks - I prefer the creatures over the depictions of humans (humans look too cartoonish)

Fun faction, but hard to get a handle of
As the title implies, it’s a fun faction to play, but they aren’t for everyone. So I bought both new sets together, this one and the “Forgedâ€Â. I assumed I would like the “Deepwood Groaks†more prior to playing. I liked the idea of bumping up the units strength and mobility with the potions, but found myself getting killed every time. By no means am I great at this game, but had a tougher time than I was expecting. Likewise, I figured I wouldn’t like the “Forged†as much, but now flipped my original opinion. These guys are a great addition, but feel like it will take a lot more practice to get good with them; definitely not a beginner faction. That’s more of a critique of me as a player, but take it for what it’s worth. Still love the game, and happy with the “Deepwood Groaksâ€Â. Looking forward to getting better with these guys.
