After a thousand years of peace, Dragul armies raided from the north, prompting you and every other loyal citizen of Nalos to sign up as soldiers of the King's Guard. The armies of Nalos fought long and hard against the North's monstrous generals and their minions, finally stemming the tide of the Dragul invasion.

But new threats have arisen that jeopardize all of Ulos. A mysterious cult prepares for the return of an ancient god. The long-abandoned gate at Brizoor Waal, a portal between planes, rumbles with new life. Strange rifts appear in the sky, unleashing bizarre creatures into your world. Dragul invaders seek to exploit this instability to conquer Nalos.

Roll Player Adventures is a cooperative storytelling board game for 1-4 players, set in the world of Ulos. The players portray a party of characters who will face challenges and make decisions that affect the unfolding story. Adventures does not require the Roll Player base game or any of its expansions to play. Pick from one of six pre-generated characters, or import a favorite Roll Player character and take them on a heroic journey. If you do import a character you've built in Roll Player, any number of expansions and any number of promo cards/boards that were used may continue to be used in Roll Player Adventures.

More than just Choose-Your-Own-Adventure

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I love the dice draw and manipulation mechanism in this game. The artwork is fantastic, and so far the story is well-written and interesting. Looking forward to further playing it!

Streamlined and Built for Casual Play

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

This is one of the best co-op experiences that I have had with any board game and pairs well with the original Rollplayer board game as a fun way to build your own characters. Worry not if you don't want to or can't find the older game, they have plenty of fun options for prebuilt characters. My biggest critique is that two of the colors (Green and Blue) are banded on the challenges rather than full bars like the rest of them, which made an initial read of the rules slightly confusing.

Epic

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Just a mammoth of a game. The story is well-crafted and really provides you with interesting choices in the choose-your-own-adventure aspect. So much to experience and I love the dice manipulation system.

Awesome rpg.

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Great fairly simple rpg. The production quality, the art, the trays that organise everything are top notch!

Great game

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Like having the option of importing a character that I have already created in the original Roll Player game. We have enjoyed playing the game.

Super Unique Game

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

RP Adventures is awesome. I love the campaign and the choices it gives the players. The best part is the replayability, and how differently each campaign can go. I also like that the components aren't destructible, so you can play over and over again.

Light family game

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

If you like story driven games, this one has a lot of reading to narrate. The game is on the easier side, but it is more about enjoying the story and solving each encounter's puzzle. I found that I needed a break from all of the beat you over the head games and just have fun. The story is great so far. Don't expect deep brain burning gameplay.

Quality deck builder

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

RPA is a very good game. It has a fun deck building mechanic, Dice mitigation, and a decent story with some nice writing. There is easily 40+ hours of content here. The only gripe I have is the writing goes on rails in the last 3 scenarios. Choices you made earlier don't matter, as the writing takes DRASTIC stances that logically don't make sense compared to the decisions you've made, or even the writing of previous scenarios. They had a story to tell, I know. Overall, solid purchase.

Surprising, fun solo

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I've had fun playing this with a single character solo. People are saying this game is too easy... I haven't found that to be the case - especially early on I failed many tasks, but the failures become an interesting part of the story.
