Great set
Great mechanics. The movie sets aren't my favorite, but this one makes up for it with neat rules and some dual cards.

Legendary rules
I love Legendary. I know some people were a little sour about the screen captures in Homecoming and the Phase 1 Core Box, but I think the mechanics and the screenshots are great in this game. I personally don't see the fuss.

GofG MS edition is good but could be better
I have nearly all of the Legendary: Marvel expansions. I love the game and play often. This expansion is good, but not the best. I love the characters and the split cards. The triggered artifacts aren't awesome though. Star Lord isn't very strong with just regular artifacts because his cards are only triggered when another artifact is played. He has some cards that can discard an artifact so it can come back again and trigger his again. The best artifact combo for him is Thrown Artifacts found in the Heros of Asgard expansion. They come around often and trigger Star Lord enough to make him a force to be reckoned with. Overall it's a fun expansion.

Rare miss
So I love legendary - but this one was a waste of an expansion. There's some fun mechanics but mostly it's a rehash of old rules, I'm not a fan of the movie stills (they don't look right with *everything else* in the set). The more egregious thing is that basically it's just heroes/villains/etc that we've already seen. Star Lord with a Guardians team affiliation? Woohoo. Drax, Gamora, been there, done that. Rocket & Groot - slightly different since they're grouped now (and the split cards make that useful) but ultimately mantis is the one new character here. And now they're about to bring in the Infinity war xpac - which can't help but be rehashes of the original GotG expansion combined with heroes we've already gotten in other sets.

Not just a touch-up
I thought it was face lit from the previous guardians of the galaxy expansion but it's not. It has new cards and new mechanics. Also the masterminds i really fun. would recommend for any legendary player.

Another Incredible Expansion!
Such a fun expansion to the Marvel Legendary universe! This is not just a repeat of the GotG expansion from 2014; it has all new cards, a few new characters, and even new keywords! A must-have for any fan!!
