Star Realms: Colony Wars

Love this base set, really spices things up.

This is such a great light weight with tons of strategy. The great thing is there’s also many expansions to make this Harvey and even Co-op.

I highly recommend getting the Frontiers standalone expansion first.

Star Realms is a great game, and this added lots more great cards to my collection.

Very fun two player game.

A great expansion to the base game. Allows for more players, which makes it more fun. Same complaints as the base game--need a better box design and not easy for less experienced players to compete with more experienced ones since there aren't a lot of the same cards. Easy to teach and learn. Family friendly. Budget friendly.

Best two player deck building g game available.

Star Realms and all its expansions are pretty much all the same. Star Realms is not for everyone. It is a battle deck builder and can be frustrating at times as the game can swing out of nowhere. If you’ve played the core game you’ve more or less played all the expansions. The variety of cards is fantastic. They’re all mostly different but don’t expect mind blowing new features to actual game play. The expansions add to the fun that already there and don’t add anything uniquely new. It’s a game that if you become a fan of it you’ll continue to love it. A great intro game to the deck building mechanism and genre. The theme is fun and the head to head nature is also fun if you like take that’s. For me and my wife, we enjoy take that games and we love deck builders.

I bought Star Realms Frontier first. And loved it. So, this one is a stand-alone or you can combine it with the Frontier set. The theme is strong, and the ships go together well. I love Star Realms.
