Cool, but had to be replaced.
While the mini itself is great I had to replace the first one I got because it was broken off its base. Once I got the new one (very easily, thanks MM!) it really does look great.

Broken
Fixable, but this arrived damaged inside of packaging. The clear base was snapped off. Otherwise awesome looking figure.

Noice!
The Ember Roc is a quality figure and looks amazing, going to use for a random encounter most likely but its also good to look at.

Ember Roc Excellence
The transparent material in the wings reflects light like fire. A very cool effect in a properly aized mini. Excellent mini!

Solid big bird
Im a little on the fence with this mini. The overall sculpt is really nice, the painting is clean, I was surprised that the eyes were painted with itty bitty pupils, the bluish purple head looks kinda strange though... The problem I have is the fire. It looks nice on the wings and tail, but the fire on the head looks kinda dumb in my opinion. Overall I'd say it's a nice big bird that could make a monster phoenix with a paint job.

A truly beautiful bird to ROC someone's world!
When I received this miniature, I could hardly believe my eyes! Big, beautiful, golden yellow translucent areas on its wings that really glow when backlighted. This will really strike terror into the player's eyes!!!
