Strangehollow is a vast and ancient wilderness. It encompasses dense forests, dreary marshes, craggy hills and mountains, and hundreds of miles of coastline. The wilderness is inhabited by numerous magical creatures, many of which are unique to Strangehollow. Some may be familiar to explorers, adventurers, and tale-tellers, at least in name, but even those tropes are likely to have their own surprises.
Surviving Strangehollow is a 5E (2014 and 2024) supplement and micro-setting based on the imagination and artwork of beloved watercolorist Emily Hare. It features over 100 new creatures, all beautifully hand-painted, with fascinating ecologies and encounter ideas. There are numerous new rules and systems for players and DMs as well, including 16 subclasses, numerous spells and magic items, several new feats and backgrounds, and rules to augment exploration and non-combat challenges. Strangehollow is a vast wilderness with unique creatures and dangers, and can be dropped into any campaign or run as a standalone setting.
