Pandemic: Hot Zone - North America

I like this version of Pandemic because I get the same experience as the larger original game but in less time and less struggle. I feel the orginal and this version are identical experiences, although this one is concentrated in one continent, you still have plenty of locations to try and save, so you're not having a short tribulation. It's quick and fun but ultimately to me it's just Pandemic, which I was never a big fan of. Defintiely good for younger audience and people whom are new to board games or cooperative games.

All the fun of the original Pandemic but half the length. The original can drag on a bit too long but this games gives you all the fun in half the time.

If you would want a quicker more simple version of Pandemic, this is it.

A great version of the game Pandemic. Is challenging and great entry for those into the hobby. I got a couple for stocking stuffers this Christmas.

Great game - faster and simpler than full game

I've played the regular version of Pandemic, but I like this streamlined version for it's simplicity and quickness. While the estimated playing time for some games is grossly understated, this one is more more accurate. A single game will realistically take about 30 minutes. And there is enough variety in the cards to warrant playing more than a few times.

Life is pretty hectic at the moment, so this mini-Pandemic is the perfect fit for my family. True, you do lose some of the variety (there are only four characters to choose from), but the game strikes a great balance between being small and quick while still packing a satisfying game experience. I think this will be our go-to option for Pandemic for all those evenings when we just don't have the energy or tablespace for a full game.
