The Transcontinental is an award-winning worker placement game about the development of the Canadian transcontinental railway. With innovative mechanics, vibrant artwork, and na inclusive approach to history, it's a unique spin on railway games.
You'll gather resources, ship them on a shared train, and then use them to either extend the railway or build developments to unlock new opportunities. But each choice you make opens up both new challenges and opportunities for your rivals.
• Linear Worker Placement - Send telegrams down the track to set up your future turns. Activate it when the train reaches it, or leave it there to use when the train travels back.
• Action-combos - Take one action on each side of the track, plus use powerful one-time-use ally cards.
• Shared Pickup and Deliver - Load your resources to the train; but be careful, as space is limited and your moves may help or hinder your opponents.
• Simultaneous Bidding - Bid Resources to extend the railway. Outwit your opponents at the Railhead to collect points and bonus actions.
