Players are members of a vampire clan slowly regaining their former power. With the help of their minions, they will fight against the agents of the Inquisition, cast fear into the hearts of the people with their hunts, and shape dread sigils in different city districts, all in preparation for the grand Blood Moon ritual that will confirm their grasp on the city and its fate. But beware, the longer they prepare for the ritual, the harder it will be to complete it. Enemies are searching for them constantly and when they find them, even vampire magic may not stop them!

Players must keep a compromise between using powerful blood-magic and keeping the Veil of Secrecy which protects them. The six available vampires with unique abilities to choose from, 9 city districts (and countless city configurations), 13 relics and 54 different event cards, variable difficulty levels make this game extremely re-playable.

So Much Fun!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

We went on a vampire game kick after re discovering how much we love the Fury of Dracula. This game is a really fun cooperative gaming experience with a great theme. I love the artwork as well.

Challenging fun coop

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

This game appeals to me for 2 reasons: the theme and the coop play. If you like Vampire the Masquerade and similar vampire themes, you will have the feeling of that world in this game, wherein the vampire players are trying to achieve their nefarious purpose while not being discovered (veil reaches 0). The cooperative play also fits the theme well, and the variable player powers differ greatly from one character to the next. You have to play smartly to use the vampire powers properly to win the game. It is challenging, and to me that makes it more fun - you need to work hard for the win.

Can't speak on how derivative it is because I've never played Pandemic or Vampire the Masquerade. Quite like the Sin City-esque theme and how it makes sense with the gamplay, love how the event cards and tracker are old-timey newspapers, adds nice cohesiveness. Very difficult and you can't waste a single move. It's not hard to understand or teach, but there are a lot of small rules that can be hard to remember and there's not a good way to track how many actions you've taken. The difficulty is made more digestible by how easy it is to set up another game, though putting everything back is unclear.
