Mezo is an innovative area control game for 2-4 players inspired by Mayan mythology. Players control a god and a tribe of Warriors, Shamans, and a single Champion. These tribes will clash for dominance, build pyramids, and make sacrifices to gain immense power, all in the name of their god.

A great area control game
I really like area control games and have more than I can play regularly but I am glad I added Mezo to my collection! It's great!

MEZO is fun
I bought MEZO because I'm interested in ancient civilizations and I also like to paint minis. While the game is fun to play, some the minis are of questionable quality. Both Kukulcan and Kabrakan are nice minis, but the other two gods have flashing and low-quality details. The workers/soldiers are very small and not even worth painting IMO. The quality of the rest of the game is nice though, especially the box and game board.

MEZO is very good
Wasn't sure about it, bought it on a whim. As it turns out, it's a pretty fun game. More strategy involved than I thought, which I like. This game is really fun. Pretty easy to learn, ready to play again on game night.
