Arkham Horror 3E: Secrets of the Order Expansion @ 59:30

The unquiet spirits of the dead cry out and ghouls stalk the midnight streets of Arkham. Derelict portals yawn open between our existence and the horrific unknown, and even in the storied French Hill neighborhood, the Order of the Silver Twilight plots their path to greater power.

This new expansion brings investigators to the classic neighborhood of French Hill while also sending them beyond our reality into the depths of the terrifying Underworld. Two new double-sided map tiles bring the older regions of Arkham, Massachusetts to life, including the aforementioned French Hill neighborhood, as well as the Underworld itself. Four more investigators join the party, ranging from the steadfast soldier Mark Harrigan to the confident aviatrix Winifred Habbamock. The investigators' jobs will not be easy - this expansion brings three entirely new scenarios into the fold, challenging investigators with restless spirits, secret cultists, and the depths of the Underworld itself. With over 130 new encounter and event cards, new assets, monsters, conditions, and a new type of map tile, Secrets of the Order opens a portal to a hoard of content, pulling you into some truly terrifying tales.

More goodness (or should I say madness?) for the game

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I recently purchased the base game and liked it enough that I've also been buying the expansions. This one adds new locations along with new investigators, cards, etc. Extra bonus for anyone playing Call of Cthulhu RPG solo: you can use the various cards and tokens from this game series as randomizers during play. :-)

Great expansion.

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

This is the first expansion that we have purchased for Arkham Horror 3rd edition and it is a great edition. My wife and I played it immediately and loved it. Hopefully Fantasy Flight make more expansions.

Definitely worth picking up!

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

Now this adds a bit of everything the new AH3E needed. New locations, playable characters, monsters and mechanics. Locations are sweet additions, the Miskatonic University and the even the Underworld!

More of a good thing!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

If you're a fan of Arkham Horror 3E, this is more of the same. Three new scenarios and four new investigators increases the replayability significantly, and each expansion has provided richer and more inspired scenarios than the last.

My Favorite Arkham 3E Expansion

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

All four of the new characters are fun, but Agatha and Preston are easily in my top 5 favorite investigators. The new Threshold tiles and mechanics are innovative and fun. I've only played 2 of the 3 scenarios, and both were outstanding and unique.

More Horror Goodness

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I’m a huge fan of Arkham Horror 3e. Anytime I can add more characters or scenarios to an existing game, I’m all for that. I love to have choice when playing a game and deciding the setup. This expansion adds some new scenarios, investigators and a few new locations. This all works to keep the encounters fresh.
