Killer: The Organism
Location: Station 2891
There's nowhere to run when an unseen enemy comes to the arctic station where you and a small project group have come to do research. The only way out is by helicopter, but the problem is, you don't know who you can trust. Who has been assimilated by the organism? Someone? Everyone?
You won't know who you can trust when playing against The Organism. How can you fight what you can't see? You'll have to test the victims in the lab or with test kits you find to determine if they've been assimilated. Of course, your real job is to kill mutated victims to stop the spread once identified! Featuring three different types of organisms, you'll never know what you are going to face.
The arctic Station 2891 features new unique challenges. Anyone who stays outside too long risks succumbing to frostbite, but the only escape is via the helicopter traveling to and from the station from the Arctic airport. Will you try to save your comrades against all odds, or look out for numero uno and use them to buy yourself time?
The Core Box, when combined with one of our Feature Film Boxes, has everything you need to play the game. Each Feature Film Box features a unique Killer and iconic Location, and the more Feature Films you have, the more killer/location combinations you can experience!
Each Feature Film Box is double-sided, with amazingly illustrated covers on the front AND back. Not only that, but the magnetically attached box covers are removable, with the reverse of each functioning as the Killer and Location boards respectively.
This Feature Film box has cover art of Kate on one side and Uki on the other.

Panic at Station 2891
This might be my favorite Final Girl feature film. Extremely thematic. If your a fan of the Thing and Final Girls, it's a must have. Plus there's huskies.

One of the best scenarios yet!!
The killer(s) are unique. The mechanics are new and fun. Very suspenseful every time you test a victim that could be possibly assimilated. I love how you have to deal with weather conditions while dealing with your predicaments. I would highly recommend this set!

The thing
This is a feature film for experienced players only, not so much due to difficulty as complexity. The arctic station is a decent arena with some major complications to the gameplay. Because of the isolation, you have to load victims onto a helicopter and send it away, meaning that it is much more challenging to rescue them. Plus, the area outside the base is hazardous due to the cold and certain events that can make it difficult to make your way back to the base. The killer is also more complicated. There are potentially up to three killers and it is possible to go the majority of the game without knowing which of the possible killers is just a survivor. If you wait until the finale, all of the untested exposed victims automatically become killers.

THE THING you've been looking for
The series continues to impress with its ability to capture the theme and feel of being the final character in a horror movie. The thing being a top ten classic for me doesn't hurt either as this feature runs through the scenario extremely well. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun but a bit random challenge as that's what this system offers now it's just has more flavors to enjoy.

'The Thing' about Panic at Station 2891...
This one is super fun, although can be quite swingy. There's a chance that all 3 of your possibly infected victims could end up as 'Things', but you could also only have 1 chasing you around. Obviously if you have 3, you're going to have a much tougher go of it. But thematically this feels exactly like playing through The Thing. Being that this is my favorite horror movie of all time, I adore this Final Girl scenario. Excellent job recreating the vibes of Outpost 31! Also, love that Station 2891 is a nod to The Thing, as reading the numbers backwards gives you the year in which that film was originally released. Wonderful touch!

Challenging but great fun
I have played all of the Feature Film boxes from both Season One and Season Two. I quite enjoy every single one for one reason or another. And Panic at Station 2891 may well be one of the more difficult settings and one of the more difficult Killers in all of Final Girl. The setting has its very own touch of extra deadly with the Frostbite mechanic, and the Helicopter mechanic makes it more challenging to save victims. And the Organism is a real pain if you don't get lucky and eliminate one or two early on. When three get flipped on you at the end and you are not both prepared AND lucky, you are toast. Having said all that... I still love it and I highly recommend it.
