The Resistance: Avalon pits the forces of Good and Evil in a battle to control the future of civilization. Arthur represents the future of Britain, a promise of prosperity and honor, yet hidden among his brave warriors are Mordred's unscrupulous minions. These forces of evil are few in number but have knowledge of each other and remain hidden from all but one of Arthur's servants. Merlin alone knows the agents of evil, but he must speak of this only in riddles. If his true identity is discovered, all will be lost.
Will goodness prevail? Or will Avalon fall under Mordred's dark shadow?
The Resistance: Avalon is a standalone game. It does not require you to have The Resistance to play,but it remains compatible so you can combine games.

Excellent game. Tends to make you lose track of time.
This is Resistance with more function. One of those games which gets everyone involved and leaves you wanting to play again and again. The longer the game lasts, the more fun you are probably having because this is a game which demands long discussion and suspicion.

If you like Resistance, give it a try
This is basically Resistance in a medieval setting. I personally prefer this setting compared to the futuristic on see in the regular installment. Basically it is a deduction game with the possibility of a traitor in the midst. I enjoy it as long as you have the right mix of people at the table. If people enjoy getting into the game a bit more, than this game will be a hit.
