It's Talisman in RPG form!
A fun adaptation of the board game. Simple but interesting rules so your brain can take a break from all the 3E/5E stuff.

Looks fun and an easier rules set than D&D if you're in the mood for less intense rules lawyering...and set in the world of Talisman so cool!

Excellent new Zany RPG!
I initially purchased this out of curiosity as I'm a fan of the boardgame and it gives me a lot of D&D ideas but honestly didn't think it was going to be as fun as it is, easy to pickup, lots of fun mechanics that make sense and flow easily, zany fun!

Surprisingly Good Game with an 'Old School' Vibe
This game does an admirable job of capturing the feel and atmosphere of the Talisman board game. The rules are pretty straightforward and light weight and the game makes a good choice if you are looking for something simple to throw in and take a break from a regular campaign. I am looking forward to seeing more in this game line!

Great Quick-Playing RPG
Talisman Adventures has surprised me. It's on the lighter side of rules crunch, approximately an intermediate level, but still manages to provide enough character customization to make each PC your own. The die rolls are all player-facing which speeds up conflict resolution and takes some of the load off the GM. They are resolved using a 3d6 system, one die being the Kismet die. The latter can provide special moves or abilities to either side with ones beneficial to GM characters, and sixes to PCs. Roll resolution also involves multiple scales of success, so there is more variety in task resolution than many games which use a simple pass/fail system. There is enough ease-of-use to allow and inspire GMs to create their own content readily. Recommended!
