Amazing Board Game for The Dwarves Fans
Beautiful game that encapsulated the lore and strife of the novels. I live how each of the heroes had a specific time to play; with dinner being better at funday while other are better at diplomacy. Nicely designed board with high quality pieces. Even if you're not familiar with the series, it's a fun pickup.

Big Box Big fun
I love everything about this game. The components and rule book are great. The game is also easy to learn and easy to teach. I am a fan of the books and this game delivers on the tension in Girdlegard. Every turn you will start by moving the hero marker forward to either spawn enemies, perish land, add threat cards to the adventure deck, or move the dwarven council marker towards undesirable affects. If you want to save Girdlegard you need to find a balance in all areas to give yourself enough time to get through the scenario cards. You do this by fighting, adventuring, and swaying the dwarven council. So go forth, buy this game and help the Dwarves save GirdleGard!

GREAT GAME
Love the game. I bought the base game about 14 months ago and enjoyed it so much, I pre-order the Big Box. Though it took about a year to get it, it was so worth the wait. Easy to learn, fun to play, and great for various types of players.
