Great Expansion
The new factions shone in addition to significantly increasing replayability, they are more balanced and their special faction actions make it clearer which way we should go.

more tapestry goodness
Having played tapesty a few times, it was fun to get more options to play with. new civs, more landmarks AND... I fit in all in my base game box! Did i mention Tapestry has a great solo mode? Well it does. Get it!

Good but not necessary
This is a perfectly fine expansion, with high quality components that fit well with the base game, but I would only recommend it if you've played the base game A LOT and feel like you need more content. Non-essential, and absolutely not needed for new players.
