While empires rise and fall in Eastern Europa, the rest of the world takes notice. Two distant factions, Albion and Togawa, send emissaries to scout the land and employ their own distinct styles of conquering.
This expansion to Scythe adds 2 new factions, each with 5 miniatures, 31 custom wooden tokens, and 1 faction mat. It also includes new cardboard tokens, 2 new player mats, 6 Automa cards, and a custom plastic insert designed to fit into the expansion box or the original Scythe box.

complete the factions
This one isn't a must have as much as a complete the factions, but this does give two more player board to experiment with and allows you to use the entire board.

Must have if you love Scythe
With two new factions making the game up to 7 players is awesome. A 7 player game of Scythe is pure chaos!

More variety for the factions and player boards. Almost negligible bump in complexity

Great expansion for a great game. Worth the money. Added factions are interesting. Watch out for Albion though.

Well thought out expansion
Great expansion with 2 additional factions for Scythe. These can be used in normal play but it also opens the player count up for 6-7 players. The new factions are well thought out and the expansion comes with two pieces to help adapt a couple of abilities (1 mech, 1 character) so that game play will still be fair in a 6-7 player game which I really appreciate. These two factions are more complex and you should probably be familiar with Scythe before you try and play with them. I love that this helps add variety to the original game. Great, well thought out expansion with high quality components like the base game.

Revitalize the fun
There's not much to be said about the expansions for Scythe except that if you enjoy Scythe, and the games are feeling a bit repetitive, get the expansions. They help revitalize the fun in the game. Invaders felt like stepping up to a whole new level in the game with additional players. Just make sure you have the table space!
