In Ticket to Ride: Berlin, players race one another to visit the most iconic locations of the city and complete their Destination Tickets. The winning player will utilize Berlin's streetcars and, for the first time, will venture under the streets to incorporate a subway system into their routes.

Berlin

This is a very good city version of Ticket to Ride. I didn't notice the different scoring for subway cars the first time I played, but that's minor. This is almost like the city version of Rails and Sails, since you have to manage two types of train cars. Would recommend!

It's okay.

Players have streetcars and subway cars to place on the board. Streetcars are more expensive to place but more points are scored for placing subway cars than for placing street cars. I liked the challenge of placing different transportation modes, but my guests wanted to be able to swap the subway cars for streetcars similar to the way that ships and trains can be swapped in Rails & Sails. I will probably create house rules for them. Thus, I will have two games in one box.

Berlin does bring a tiny new twist with the underground single-car-piece routes, for a nice quick fun TTR.
