Game Color is a special selection of fine waterbased acrylic colors manufactured with a special resin and permanent pigments for miniatures figures in fantasy and war games.

This compact range has been especially developed to contain all the frequently used colors in fantasy figures, in a formula particularly designed for adherence on plastics and metals, using a new resin of unequalled durability and resistance to scrapes and abrasion. Colors brush on easily and smoothly, and dry to an opaque, matte finish. Their finely ground texture makes them perfect for the most miniature details as well as for large surfaces. They are highly pigmented, light fast and waterproof once dry. Errors can be corrected immediately with water or a small amount of alcohol.

The Washes and Inks, developed with a new resin, are used for shadows and for the application of colors in layers. When applied over a basecoat, they enter into the folds and grooves of the figure, and instantly bring forth the features. They can also be mixed with the regular colors, or with the Mediums.

Game Color are presented in a 17ml bottle with eyedropper. This packaging prevents the paint from evaporating and drying in the container.

It coated so well!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

This is a game changer! I've struggled with paddle skin tone coverage for a long time but this went on smooth and coated very well! So much easier/faster/less stressful now.

Great consistency as always with Vallejo. Bought to add and experiment on different skin tone techniques. One of my most disliked turnouts so trying new things to get better with and results.

Great highlight

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Great color for brighter areas, a bit too pink for the most natural of tones but good for fantasy style exaggeration.

Great color from Vallejo if you ignore the name

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

My criticism of premixed flesh tones is that they don't usually look very natural. Pale flesh is one of those colors. I find that it looks pretty descent when used as a thinned down highlight layer but I don't recommend using it as a base coat because it's a little too pink. That really is a small nitpick because the names of these paints shouldn't have any bearing on how you use them. Just because the word "flesh" is in the name of the color doesn't mean it has to be used as a flesh tone. Don't be afraid to mix your paints until you have a color you're happy with. This color would also work as a great highlight for brighter pinks as it is essentially a pink with a larger amount of white added to it. The Vallejo Game Color line is my paint of choice at the moment. I find that these pigments are more vibrant that the Model Color line and I like the way they feel on a brush better than the offerings from other manufacturers. Always be sure to shake these paints before use as the pigments can separate after the bottles have been sitting for a while.
