Game Color is a special selection of fine waterbased acrylic colors manufactured with a special resin and permanent pigments for miniatures figures in fantasy and war games.

This compact range has been especially developed to contain all the frequently used colors in fantasy figures, in a formula particularly designed for adherence on plastics and metals, using a new resin of unequalled durability and resistance to scrapes and abrasion. Colors brush on easily and smoothly, and dry to an opaque, matte finish. Their finely ground texture makes them perfect for the most miniature details as well as for large surfaces. They are highly pigmented, light fast and waterproof once dry. Errors can be corrected immediately with water or a small amount of alcohol.

The Washes and Inks, developed with a new resin, are used for shadows and for the application of colors in layers. When applied over a basecoat, they enter into the folds and grooves of the figure, and instantly bring forth the features. They can also be mixed with the regular colors, or with the Mediums.

Game Color are presented in a 17ml bottle with eyedropper. This packaging prevents the paint from evaporating and drying in the container.

This is the most concentrated Vallejo game paint I've used. It will last you a long time. This is what I use for my Wrath of Kings Nasier figures.

This is a basic red and will be used throughout the army of your choice. Washing this with a black ink makes for a terrifying armor, mixing it with a brown ink will make a nice worn look to your model. This is a must have color for any hobbyist.

The essential red in the Vallejo Game Color line

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Bloody Red is the closest color you'll find to primary red in the Vallejo Game Color Line. In combination with Moon Yellow, Ultramarine Blue, and some basic color theory, you should be able to mix any color you can think of. I use this color all the when I'm painting. It's a good midtone red and can be mixed with yellow or white for highlighting, or with brown or black for shading. The Vallejo Game Color line is my paint of choice at the moment. I find that these pigments are more vibrant that the Model Color line and I like the way they feel on a brush better than the offerings from other manufacturers. Always be sure to shake these paints before use as the pigments can separate after the bottles have been sitting for a while.
