I played this at Pax Unplugged and thought it was amazing. Its a euro sandbox with a fantasy theme where you can do a variety of things and choose your approach to the game: fight monsters, get relics/treasures, improve your skills/traits, upgrade your transportation like your horse, get various companions with varying abilities, explore the land, and a lot of optional expansion modules packed in the base game to vary it up more. It played fast too, in under 2 hours I think for a beginner like me in a 4 player game. Highly recommended. The only caveat is the exhobitant price and things like unnecessary miniatures, plus the board is overly big and a bit inconvenient shape-wise. But still exceelent game.
