Nice models and more cards
Comes with 4 models each of torii arches and gates to the belly of the beast world. These gateways lend a nice sense of flavor to the game but are not requires for play. I mostly got the set for the extra encounter cards etc which add more variety.

Fun cards
I got this for the cards. It's worth it for the cards. Don't know if or when I'll paint the actual gates, but they are nice bling for your game.

Unnecessary, but Nice
I liked the cards that came with it and the gateways look great. Probably only get if you are a completionist like me though.

Fashion over function.
Like the Doorways into Darkness expansion of the first core sets, this expansion consists of 8 doorway miniatures, 15 cards, and a painting guide. The sculpts have nice details and require no assembly. The gateways have no functional value, in regards to gameplay, but do add a nice aesthetic touch to the table. Pricewise, the expansion isn't a bad deal for what you get. It is by no means a "must own" product, however. If you liked Doorways to Darkness, pick it up. If you didn't, take a pass on this one. Folks new to Shadows of Brimstone should weigh whether they would rather add more flavor to the Forbidden Fortress core set or pick up an an enemy pack to add more variety to their opponents.
