From within their fortresses and strongholds, the Rangers tirelessly pursue their lifelong mission: protecting the inhabitants of the realm, explore the wilderness, unite communities, fight monsters, and recover ancient treasures so that one day, hope may be born anew. • Strengthen your Fortress with structures to bolster your abilities and watchtowers to secure neighboring areas.
• The Rangers are heroes with a daring heart and a brave spirit. The character cards show their unique abilities and track their Provisions and Health level.
• Many actions challenge the wisdom, craftsmanship, and martial abilities of the Rangers. These skill tests are resolved with Profession dice.
• Venture outside to meet the Incidents that fate has sent your way. Beware, as too many will make the zone perilous and threaten the Rangers' Prestige.
• Request the help from neighboring communities to gather resources and support for your quest.
• Chronicle Cards represent the main storyline of each scenario. The pages turn one by one, revealing new gripping challenges for the Rangers to face.

Story Telling
This game is mostly about story telling with limited board interactions. The game is quick and can be reset.

Oltree is a great lighter game with beautiful components. The gameplay is smooth and simple, and the story elements of the game are very fun. The game shines in a family setting. The decisions are simple enough for younger children to make by themselves. The gameplay is certainly enjoyable for adults too. Highly recommended.
