LOVE IT
Once you play this version of deck building game it's hard to go back to normal deck building games. If you haven't seen the movies, it's OK. But you will have some spoilers with the enemies you'll be fighting, it does give it away. You can play all 7 games working together with your teammates to get through them and battle all the enemies. It's a co-op game, with no twist to back stab like other deck building games. (Alien encounters) The beginner player’s start with game 1 to get the hang of the game and movements, advanced players can start on game 3. It takes a few hours to get through the entire game, but you can stop in between games and come back later setting up where you were before. There are different rules for each game you play, rules are organized in a booklet for easily referencing. Don't hesitate to get this game it's a good one.

Amazingly well themed and designed game. 5 stars if you enjoy the Harry Potter stories, 4.5 stars if you don't but are looking for cooperative gameplay
My wife and I have this set up in our dining room and we never take it down. The ability to replay this game and you go through the seven Harry Potter books, introducing new game mechanics along the way keeps the game from getting stale. It's unlikely that you'll return to the earlier levels. Well you might go back when you buy a copy for your nephew or niece and step through the progressions again. The only thing to be aware of is to make sure you count all cards. We were missing three cards from our first purchase. However, I did not hesitate to purchase this game 2 more times as USAopoly support was right on top of it. Sending me Gencon exclusive card to add to the game as an apology. Both of the next two purchases were clean and had nothing missing.
