Game Color is a special selection of fine waterbased acrylic colors manufactured with a special resin and permanent pigments for miniatures figures in fantasy and war games.

This compact range has been especially developed to contain all the frequently used colors in fantasy figures, in a formula particularly designed for adherence on plastics and metals, using a new resin of unequalled durability and resistance to scrapes and abrasion. Colors brush on easily and smoothly, and dry to an opaque, matte finish. Their finely ground texture makes them perfect for the most miniature details as well as for large surfaces. They are highly pigmented, light fast and waterproof once dry. Errors can be corrected immediately with water or a small amount of alcohol.

The Washes and Inks, developed with a new resin, are used for shadows and for the application of colors in layers. When applied over a basecoat, they enter into the folds and grooves of the figure, and instantly bring forth the features. They can also be mixed with the regular colors, or with the Mediums.

Game Color are presented in a 17ml bottle with eyedropper. This packaging prevents the paint from evaporating and drying in the container.

The perfect hue for my project

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I purchase this paint for my table top war game figures. It was exactly the color I needed. It also gave me an opportunity to work with Vallejo paints. I have only used Army Painter paints so far and I have to say I like how this paint flowed and doesn’t need a lot of mixing to be used. Looking forward to trying other Vallejo brand paints in the future.

I'm terrible at mixing paint colors, AND painting with yellows. Buying multiple yellow shades ( from Miniature Market) will help you paint more gooder

This is a base line gold. Accents and highlights are fine but i wholeheartedly agree with the other review on this page go with Moon yellow and just mix a little orange in to supplement if you need a color about this shade

Great color but too similar to 72.006 Sun Yellow

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Gold Yellow has an orange tint to it compared to Moon Yellow. It is incredibly close in color to 72.006 Moon Yellow. So much in fact that I would recommend choosing one or the other to add to your set of paints. This is a very versatile color with many basic applications straight out of the bottle. I use this as a base color for golden fabrics and use it as one of my steps when I paint fire. The Vallejo Game Color line is my paint of choice at the moment. I find that these pigments are more vibrant that the Model Color line and I like the way they feel on a brush better than the offerings from other manufacturers. Always be sure to shake these paints before use as the pigments can separate after the bottles have been sitting for a while.
