The new Game Color formulation represents a new approach to painting Fantasy and Wargame figures.

Developed by our experts together with professional modelers, the new range implies a further step in the evolution of miniature painting by offering an intuitive and easy-to-learn painting method to new generations.

The range has been designed according to the BSL (Base, Shadow, Light) figure paint system, based on chromatically compatible groupings of three colors, which offers the less experienced painters for an easy choice of colors (shades) to paint miniatures with the appropriate highlights and shadows for each base color.

The new fully transparent r-PET (recycled/recyclable) plastic bottle is completely transparent, improves color visualization and enhances AV's commitment to sustainability and the environment. In addition to the new bottle, the new cap includes a security seal.

The new Game Color formulation greatly improves the colors application. The paint spreads very smoothly, is more fluid, opaque, and contains a high pigment saturation, chosen for their brightness, maximum stability, and resistance to light.

Colors are easy to apply and blend, offer a matt finish and excellent self-leveling properties that prevent brush strokes from showing on the painted surface. Formulated with state-of-the-art resins, paints provide a high resistance to handling and rubbing.

Game Color are presented in a 18ml bottle with eyedropper. This packaging prevents the paint from evaporating and drying in the container.

Not as red as it looks online.

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

I find the true color to be more purple and pink and less red than what is advertised. Definitely a bit brighter as well. I think it’s a good purple, however, and the consistency is nice and thin.

Decided to drift away from citadel paints (the only I can get around here) and I'm super happy with the switch. Worked great with layering different pinks. And Miniature Market got it to me pretty quick anytime I've been in a pinch for a certain color.

Love the color of the paint but it is a little more watery than most of the game color lineup that I have found so far.

Warm purple that's great for highlighting

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Warlord Purple is a warm purple color that is great for mixing into highlights with darker reds and purples. I also use it as a base for bright colored robes and cloaks sometimes. I think this would be a difficult color to mix yourself due to the vibrancy. Definitely worth having in your palette! The Vallejo Game Color line is my paint of choice at the moment. I find that these pigments are more vibrant that the Model Color line and I like the way they feel on a brush better than the offerings from other manufacturers. Always be sure to shake these paints before use as the pigments can separate after the bottles have been sitting for a while.
