Old meets new.
There is nothing revolutionary about the gameplay here (Dominoes meets Go), but it is so danged polished and makes for a wonderfully tactile and serene gaming experience. Goldilocks complexity for weeknight play, suitable for new and advanced gamers alike, and offering considerable replay value, if only to immerse in its world. I'm a bit surprised this only scores 7.1 on BGG, as it has quickly earned itself a permanent space on my game shelf.

Breathe life back into the land with this tile placement, area majority game
A beautifully packaged game for anyone who enjoys tile/domino placement and area majority mechanisms. A really simple rules set masks meaty strategy in game play. The shared use of neutral player markers can make for a pretty insane game of tug-of war with moments where you can very easily spoil the plans of your opponents while gaining victory points for yourself! I found the player interaction to be really enjoyable as you try to time your tile placement (and player marker placement) just right to make sure you get victory points. The end game results in a very satisfyingly filled board that looks quite beautiful whether you win or lose. Really happy with this this game!
