Great game!
Incredible game with worker placement, outstanding theme, and crunchy decisions without a lot of weight to the overall complexity of the game. I feel like I'm taking off on a pulp adventure every time I open the box.

Great Worker Placement Game
This is a great combination of worker placement with some light deck-building. It is my favorite worker placement game, although I have not played many. (Lords of Waterdeep, Everdell, and Tiny Epic Dinosaurs come to mind.) It has a nice evolution, as players are incentivized to discover new and better locations. Each round you are trying to optimally chain your actions to get the most accomplished. It also has a fun theme, with quality components.

A Most Excellent Euro!
It’s a great game that was a better Christian gift. A definite addition to your collection if you enjoy euros.

The best one if Dune Imperium is not in the picture. :D
Amazing worker placement with deck-building. I love the mechanic.

A must have
As soon as we finished our first game I couldn't wait to play it again. The Lost ruins of Arnak is pretty addictive. There are plenty of options about where to score points. It is often compared to many other games but I would say that among others it reminded me a little bit of clank and splendor. clank because of the different paths, scoring options, and item enhancements. And splendor because of collecting the right material combinations to get what you want or need. I love this game and have added the expansion to the top of my wish list. The down side that I see, and it has been mentioned before, is the component storage. They give you a lot of bags but then you just toss all the bags in the box. I have seen better storage solutions though so I'll probably pick that up too.

Good, fun
Sometimes a beautiful game comes along that has a bunch of mechanisms you've seen before, puts them all together, and lets you work it out for yourself. It's a great game that isn't quite an entryway game, not at all, but is something that would work seamlessly as a stepping stone for those wishing to wet their feet further into gaming. Very accessible, highly recommended.

Solo Mode
Simple to run but challenging to beat on hard mode solo deck included.

Awesome --- AWESOME!
OMG with this game. All that I saw on YouTube reviews was that it was fantastic. I saw it on Barnes and Noble one day, and for $60 no thanks. My son saw a YouTube reviewed and asked me to get it. We're gamer addicts but are careful with our budget. And low and behold, I got it from Miniature Market and we played our first game. HOLY COW this game is fantastic. It feels like a choose-your-own-adventure game. Do you want to get points by going to sites? Or do you want to get points by researching? It's your choice. So many options to try and beat your opponents. It's a great deck building PLUS worker placement. The components are top notch A+ quality. If you're into fun and great competitive games, you won't regret getting it. FYI: the box is big and heavy (and I appreciate all the ziplog bags inside to hold your pieces).

Simple Rules, Deep Strategy
Have only played this game solo so far (including the solo campaign included for free on the Czech Games website) but it is already near the top of my favorite games list and can't wait to get it to the table with friends. Very easy to learn the rules. Good deck building and worker placement mechanics, there are always more actions available to you than you initially think. Set up and clean up are a bit rough, there is absolutely no inherent organization system aside from a bunch of plastic baggies; it's generally no fun to spend money on a box organizer but for this game it may just be necessary.

Jack of all trades, master of none
… is better than master of one. Lost Ruins of Arnak uses several game mechanics without focusing on a single one, meaning there are multiple paths to victory. Certain elements of the game reminded me of Architects of the West Kingdom and Terraforming Mars. The theme is very immersive as well. The table presence is HUGE, which can make it harder to get to the table, but doesn’t affect gameplay for me.
