As a fan of Eldritch Horror who has also played Arkham Horror, I picked up this game hearing from multiple people that this is just the quick version of those games. After playing this one, it is way too easy and doesn't have much theme to it compared to the other FFG games. Most of the item cards have the same ability of rolling one or the other dice which made variety lacking and gameplay repetative. Choose a room to go to, roll dice yahtzee style, did you meet the conditions for the card? Was a total snoozefest and didn't have any story to it whatsoever. I'd suggest picking up Eldritch Horror instead of this game if you want some story telling or variety.
