Smash Up: Monster Smash Expansion

I'm probably going to permanently use at least one faction from this set every time I ever play Smash Up again! I don't even care which faction, but I'm definitely in the Vampires' thrall.

Finally hot werewolves and loving them. Really all the decks are good, but the art on werewolves vamps and monsters is great

Thematically this is one of my favorite Smash Up expansions. Mechanically it’s only good. It’s an early set and several factions feel underpowered, but this can be helped to a degree with the Titans pack.

Adds 4 great factions with various ways of utilizing +1 power tokens which can lead to an interesting and enjoyable strategy. Unlike with a lot of the Smash Up Expansions, I enjoy playing with all 4 of these!

Yet another out of the park expansion from AEG's Smash up. This time with all the bump in the night we could have ever asked for. Bringing the classic horror creations to the modern realm of the table top. Mad scientists, Vampire, Werewolves and GIANT ANTS! Again each with it very own and very distinct game play. Vampires are sucking life essence to gain strength, werewolves howling at the moon and gaining sudden bursts of power, Giant ants are swarming and using the hive mind to storm the base and lastly but not by any means least the mad scientists gaining momentum through their madness. This is another MUST OWN for smash up.

My only criticism is that I wish AEG had included a unique counter to use for the power tokens because they can easily get mixed up with the rest of the scoring tokens in the game.

How can you NOT love this expansion?!? just looking at the box art beckons back to the classic 1950s style horror films we can all appreciate. This expansion has a big focus on powering up your minions using "power tokens" adding, moving and removing them from your minions or your opponents creating a new aspect within the game. Basically, this expansion gives you exactly what you would expect playing with all of the classic monsters with an added flair.
