More uses than winter
I adore using tufts so am very biased. These are excellent with some size choices. The color is not just great for winter or even mountains, but add to a Desert base, drybrush the edges with a little tan or a winter base with a hint of white on the edges of the tuft and the. Contrast enhances the miniatures. These and the Highland tufts have so many uses that mixing both on stands can be a fantastic look.

Great for basing
All the different army painter tufts are great. One of my main basing materials that always gets a very positive response from people.
