Army Painter: Project Paint Station

My only warning is the assembly was a little tricky. If you have some sort of clamps or I used Masking tape to hold the corners snug while it dried. I'm really happy with the end result and going to take it for a test spin this weekend. It's great because I don't have a dedicated painting space in the house any longer but this will let me load it up for projects and work on them when I can and tuck it into the cabinet when I'm done. Once assembled it feels quite solid and looks great!

I picked this up to use as a sort of lap-top paint station. It’s working fine, but it’s a bit thin for the price. It should hold up ok, I’m not planning on playing football with it, but just a bit more “heft” would have bumped it up to 4 or 5 stars. The water cup slot is also a tad on the small size, but it’s serviceable for what it is.

This is an overpriced, flimsy, piece of junk! As soon as I unpackaged this item one of the shelves was broken in three places. I discovered all the rest of the pieces were just as flimsy, the slightest amount of pressure and the piece would snap! The cardboard box it was shipped in was better quality. Well here is one more piece of trash to send to the land fill. Look elsewhere or build you own out of something sturdy.

Nice little paint station, perfect for my small portable hobby table - it's made for army painter by hobbyzone (their logo is on the main piece, it winds up under the paint storage area), and it is very similar to their very nice paint stations as well, though the back and sides are thinner. Easy to assemble and the perfect size for transport (about 16"x12") and MUCH easier to find here in the states than hobbyzone's trays

I used Aleens white glue to assemble. No pieces broke. Do a test fit first. The 10 openings in the back may need a slight mod. The white surface finish is very nice. This is well worth the price paid. I plan on buying at least 1 more.
