I really like this wash. It’s very close to the GW nuln oil. I am unable to tell the difference between the two.

Great wash once diluted
This is a fantastic wash, although I recommend diluting it a little for smoother application. About 2:1 wash to water ratio works well.

The ink can be used straight for a dark shadowing effect or thinned out with Army Painter mixing medium for a more subtle shading

Great wash when you want dark tones.

Overlooked Wash
Many prefer Strong Tone and bypass Dark Tone, for Nulin Oil. Both of those have a brownish undertone, which will not work with all pain schemes. Also I use dark tone all the time to punch the contrast one more step, or smooth out a transition into a shadow. Dark Tone has a permanent spot in my go to essential washes.
