Ancient Knowledge is a strategic card game in which you erect monuments and build artefacts to pass on your knowledge. Time will make your constructions ephemeral, so make the right decision and combine the many cards at your disposal, because all knowledge is doomed to disappear.
It's up to you to find the best synergy so that you can pass down knowledge before the decline of the emblematic monuments you have constructed, monuments we still find nowadays in the four corners of the globe. From Mexican pyramids to the Sphinx of Giza, passing through the famous cities of Tiwanaku and Babylon, only the cleverest builder will shine through the ages and seize victory. In this game, your only enemy is time.

So many good decisions in a board game
This game had so many good choices to choose from. You could do so many interesting things that it was kind of hard to find bad options. There are certainly stronger play options, but everything can be good as long as you leverage it correctly. This game has a lot of risk and reward balancing. You have to know when to lose points to gain more in the end, or when to excavate for lots of cards. Definitely a great choice!

Temporary Engine Builder
I love engine building games. The problem with engine builders though is that someone can piece together a sweet combo and just wreck their opponent. This game has a timer on you engine. You have to use and abuse your combos before the are forgot to the past. Very interesting but very solo game. The interaction come from some kinda mean take that cards. I recommend the game at 2 or 3 players. Anymore players and the downtime is too great
