Mini Rogue @ 1:04:23

As the sun sets over the City, the King elects you, a Champion, to retrieve the Og's Blood: a fabled and mysterious artifact rumored to be a ruby gemstone...

Inspired by rogue-likes and old-school dungeon crawler video games, Mini Rogue is an engaging solo or two-player game that will immerse you into the depths of the dungeon. Every level is randomly laid out, each encounter plays out differently, and of course, death is final.

Choose from a selection of characters with distinct skills. Use your wits and rely on luck to overcome ever-growing odds. Unravel the mystery behind the Og's Blood with the Campaign Mode, or play with a friend using the cooperative rules.

Rogue-like

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

As a basic dungeon crawler, this is pretty good. Each level of the dungeon is made up of 9 random cards, consisting of traps, monsters, merchants, and other rooms. Making your way to the bottom of the dungeon, or top of the tower, requires careful management of resources and a fair amount of luck. Without the expansions, you'll probably see everything within a couple play throughs, though there is a campaign. Overall, if you want a light weight dungeon crawler to kill an hour here and there, this one is pretty good.

Quick but surprisingly deep

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I like quick solo games that are easy to travel with, and Mini Rogue totally fits the bill. It's a really fast set up and takes up minimal tablespace, but the game manages to stay fresh and challenging each time. I definitely recommend picking up the expansion just to add a bit more variety, but the nice thing is that it all still fits in the core box (huge + for me).

Small but Challenging

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

It's a nice game for when you want to play on your own but dont want to spend a lot of time setting up and breaking down a larger game. It's small enough to give you a light experience but challenging enough that you can feel your gaming-thirst quenched after a good delve. Can't wait to get the expansions.

Fun

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

A lot of fun ( and frustration) in such a small box. A quick dungeon crawl game that keeps hitting the table.

Perfect simulacrum

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

This has most of what I love about roguelike video games and removes most of what I dislike!

Great small box game with depth

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

Heavier than I thought it would be but that’s not a bad thing. Fun abstracted dungeon crawl for 1 to 2 players. Everything I had hoped One Deck Dungeon to be and more. Excited for additional content.

Cool concept

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

Unique concept involving randomized dungeon floors, with dice resolving combat, events, and traps. The Character die and Dungeon die combination make for a really cool experience

Amazing Solo Fun!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

What more can be said about a game designed to be played alone. Everything plays as it should and I already want the expansions!
