Jaipur (New Edition)

SO much game in this little box! Just outstanding. I bought this copy for my son so he doesn’t have to borrow it from the library. 🙂 He taught me to play with that copy and he and his 8 year old son are loving it. Highest POSSIBLE recommendation!

A must must have game in every household. Perfect quick game for 2 players and if you get creative can be played by 3 players. I wonder why aren’t they coming up with a board game version of this for 4-5 players. That would make the game more interesting and longer. Players like me like longer games !!

This is a fun, quick game. It is very easy to pick up.

This game plays very quickly (we ignore the best of 3 rule). It's easy to teach but takes time to master and has great player interaction. Can't recommend enough.

My wife and I have loved Jaipur for the past several years and I bought this copy for a friend. She and her boyfriend played 6 times the first day as it went to tiebreaker. She was mad at me as didn’t get their dinner made. Really a great game.

Jaipur is an excellent two-player game of trying to outdo your opponent in the marketplace. Try to hoard the higher-value goods to sell for the highest prices, but don't neglect the cheaper ones either, because you get a bonus for selling in bulk. You will also acquire camels along the way that can help you acquire lots of goods at one time, but collect them at the wrong time and it means a prime opportunity for your opponent to get first dibs on a selection of new goods. Overall it's a great game that has good tension and back and forth between two players, while not being overly complicated and just enough randomness in bonus points to keep the end tense without being stressful. Highly recommend!

What a great little game! The balance of card drafting versus strategic hand management is excellent. Couple that with the blind point values of set collection, the hidden scoring, and the variable impact of cashing in the camel cards and it's easy to see why it's considered one of the best 2-player games out there. It packs quite the punch for a small, easy to learn game. This game is easy to learn, very deep, and has high replay.

Fun, light game with lovely table presence. Excellent for two players.

In this game, you are shopping at the bazaar hoping to gather collectibles to make the largest pairings for points. Very easy and satisfying gameplay.
