Randolph Carter is sitting across from your desk. "The state police have strongly advised me to stay out of the area." One dead companion and two others missing, presumed dead; Carter was old money, which went a long way towards explaining why he wasn't in jail. "Uh huh" is all the enthusiasm you can muster. He continues: "We were looking into the creeping death stalking the locals. Poor, squatter types, descendants of the Dutch colonists that once claimed the land. Typer put me on to it, and now he's nowhere to be found, of course. Things got out of hand, and I wonder if you'd finish looking into it for me?" Old money trumps no money when the rent is due, so you tell him you'll motor out to the Catskills and poke around. "Bring an umbrella. There are an awful lot of storms in the area."

Of all Arkham Noir cases, this is the most balanced out of the three. Still pretty hard to beat, though! Great artwork.

Arkham Noir #2
I own all 3 that have come out so far. This is a fun little solo card game puzzle based on the stories of H.P. Lovecraft. The art is dark and atmospheric. I enjoyed this one.

Good theme game
I love noir and I Love Lovecraftian themes. This has both just like it's predecessor. You're goint o be matching card symbols and managing your hand. Be careful not to take too much damage and not to lose too many clues.

Fun puzzle.
I've been looking for some more solo games, and this did not dissapoint. The puzzle is fun and the theme works I would get it if you are a solo player.
