Nemesis: Lockdown is a sequel to the acclaimed Nemesis board game. This space survival horror experience for 1-5 players confronts you with a new adventure that expands upon the established, immersive rules. It also offers a new way of getting into the world of Nemesis.

They say the crash messed up my head. They say I am hallucinating due to everything I experienced aboard Nemesis. But whenever I put my ear to the naked red rock, I can hear something. There are echoes deep in this planet, full of hunger and rage. Soon we will awaken them - the vengeful ghosts from the old days of Mars. I need to escape before it happens.

When faced with the ultimate horror, will you trust your companions?

Good quality game

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Game pieces are good quality; board, cards, tiles, and miniatures. Rule book appears organized and easy to follow and understand. Great game to play solo or with friends.

Great sequel to the original Nemesis

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I have played a lot of the original Nemesis game which I have had for a few years and decided to pick up the sequel game. Playing it felt similar to the original but refreshingly different and a lot of fun. Great models, loved the new characters. Highly recommend!

Came quickly but slightly damaged

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

Received this quickly! Unfortunately, one corner of the box was completely torn, but it could be the couriers fault. Regardless, I will always use MM they are the best! I’m sure they will make it right as they always do 😊

Great game but not for everyone

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

This is pretty pricey. Components are good quality. But there’s a lot of randomness. Very broadly it reminds me of Robinson Crusoe: you’re going to die/lose often but the experience is fun and will tell a story. Make sure you watch some videos and do your research before purchasing.

An excellent but niche game

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Nemesis Lockdown is the second entry in the Nemesis series, but the first one that I played personally. The game is very fun, and successfully creates a very tense atmosphere between the dangers posed by the aliens, and the uncertainty regarding whether you can trust the other survivors. I think the game is really good, but it does come with 2 caveats that I think make it not appropriate for all tables or game nights 1) The game is quite hard. Until you know the ins and outs of the game pretty well, you may find that your sessions end with everyone dying and no winners. You should make sure your players are down for an experience where things can turn against them very quickly, and a short string of bad luck can kill you during an otherwise smooth run. 2) The game has nothing for you to do once your character is dead, and it is very possible to die early in a game where the other survivors go the distance, leaving a player to either spectate (which can be quite fun if you're invested in what happens to everyone else) or entertain themselves for the next hour. If neither of these sounds like a deal breaker for you, go for it! If you'd like to try the game out at a lower price tag, there is a digital version on steam that is quite good, and the publisher's discord community can be used to find games if you aren't just playing with your friends.

Love It!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I own the original Nemesis, and thought it couldnt get any better. Nemesis Lockdown has changed that. It brings new mechanics, such as noise token removals, power mechanics for the three various levels of the facility, and elevator that makes movement over the board much easier. It has been extremely enjoyable!
