Excellent game and introduction to Unlock for the younger set
I bought this for my 9yo, who really enjoys puzzles, finding hidden clues, and enjoying a story told along the way. Unlock! Kids requires a small amount of reading to set up the scenario, but then everything is done interacting with the pictures on the cards and the cardboard tokens. Combining them will point the players to new cards and advance the story. The wrong combinations will result in an X and sometimes reduce the total stars at the end of the case. With some imagination, the story unfolds through the various cards. My youngest is already familiar with the main Unlock! games so this was not a huge challenge, but it was a good game for several hours to go through the cases. She went through them all one after the other and enjoyed each of the stories. I'd recommend for kids maybe up to age 10 or so as that's probably close to the time they'll be a little too easy. They're still fun, even for adults, but not a heavy challenge. I look forward to more in the series, though.

Great Game for Curious Minds
I played through this with my 6 year old and he had an absolute BLAST! He loved making up the story as the cards flipped over (each with beautiful art) and with every new discovery his excitement grew. Even though they are short adventures (15-20 min each) you can play them again to find all the hidden numbers to increase your score. All in all, well worth the purchase just to see the joy of discovery on my son’s face!

Great Kids Game
Very kid-friendly game with moderate to easy difficulty for kids. Overall really fun to do together with them.
