Mage Wars: Conquest of Kumanjaro Spell Tome Expansion

Amazing expansion, a lot of beatifull cards and very powerfull ones

Worth picking up if your a fan of the game. The components are not as high quality as other sets but not bad. Many of the cards are good even if you don't like the new Mages.

This expansion comes with no spell tomes, but a bunch of cards and some tokens. The cards add nicely to existing 'deck archetypes' from the core set and the included Mages provide some alternative play styles for beastmaster and priest. If you are looking to buy a first mage wars expansion with the goal to mix things up, I DO NOT recommend this - the 'bigger' expansions such as Druid vs Necromancer are better suited for that. However, if you look to improve your existing core set mage decks or complete your collection, you will probably not regret this purchase. Two more notes: The expansion comes with example deck lists for the new beastmaster and priest, but these lists include cards from OTHER expansions such as Forcemaster vs Warlord. You can of course build your own decks without the other expansions. Secondly: If you are still undecided on which expansion to buy, you can find card lists for all the mage wars expansions online and you can read the card texts on online deck building pages, so that you know exactly what you will get.
