Pipes, pipes and more pipes
How to get rid of goods? PIPES! How to receive more goods? PIPES! How to spend an afternoon toiling over keeping your goods from getting to your arch rival your goods? PIPES!! With a dash of cunning.

Curious Cargo
This game is intensely thinky. It looks like it will be simple and light, but it's a very heavy spatial puzzle, that will not be for those who do not like those two things. AP could be an issue for some. The rules are simple overall (I wasn't super keen on how they were laid out), but there is still a little bit of overhead to get this to the table. If you want a brain burner for two, check this one out.

Amazing two player game!
This is one of my favorite two player game. A bit more complex that other games but lots of fun and interesting mechanisms that makes you think an Olán ahead. Highly recommended!

Great head to head brain burner!
I bought Curious Cargo because I love Pipeline and thought this would be something like a 2 player pipeline. It is not. Pipeline plays like chess. You can plan out multiple turns ahead and can often predict what your opponent will do. Curious Cargo feels more like poker. With the random cards and tiles, you're consumed trying to make sense of the chaos on your side of the board, never mind trying to predict someone else. But don't get me wrong, this isn't the lucky player wins anymore than poker is. There is always a good move but seeing it in the maze of tiles can be difficult. It really is a great, fairly quick head-to-head brain burner. The component quality is excellent and I highly recommend this game, but only if you have another serious gamer who enjoys spacial puzzles. This is not King Domino and players who enjoy more casual games probably won't enjoy Curious Cargo as much as I do.
