Juicy Fruits

This game reminds me of the puzzles where you slide the tiles to make a picture, only instead you are sliding to gather resources. It's has a fun ramp up speed because the further you get in the game the more space you open up and ultimately the more resources you can gather. A fun family game for all!

This is a game that is pretty easy to teach and suitable for all ages that still provides enough strategy to give seasoned gamers a great experience. I think playing with the basic side of the scoring board limits the decision-space somewhat and weakens the game compared to the advanced side which gives players a lot of additional options on how they can spend their fruits. The look of the game and the component quality is top-notch and the game plays very uniquely compared to other games of this weight. I'd rate it a five out of five if I could definitively say the game offers high replayability. The variability is certainly there given the randomness of the tiles that are in the game (at player counts below 4), but this is a design that could get a bit samey over time, hence the 4 of 5 rating.

Ordered new from the store, and all of the fruit components, player disc's, and license marker are missing. We just found out, it was ordered for a birthday gift this month..literally couldn't play the game.

Love this game and have really not played another like it. Love the puzzle feel to producing fruits.

The slide mechanic like those slide picture puzzles if great! This is a game that is easy to learn and play and doesn't overstay its welcome. Definitely recommend!

We have people over weekly to play games. We usually play the same series/style of games when we get together. I like to change things up for some variety. I also keep in mind the learning curve and time to setup. Juicy Fruits does not take a ton of time to setup. Like with any game, the first run through may take a little longer if you are not confident in what is happening. Other than that, it doesn't take much to learn how the game works. The game lasts as long as the players allow. Sliding the fruit tiles to gain fruits to purchase upgrades or fulfill boat requests was different than most games we play. Our group agreed this was a nice change of pace from our standard games and was enjoyable. There is a variation on this game so you can play solo. Interesting concept, but I have not tried it out yet.

Fantastic puzzler. A great game for any level of gamer.
