Carson City The Board Games Little Brother

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

I got Carson City The Card Game to be a lighter game to play when we have less time for Carson City The Board Game, and I love the card game! It comes in a small box, and all you need to play the game is a few pile of cards and a small table top area to build up your city. I love the strategy to try to make the most out of your tableau and the character cards. The one thing I wish they improved was the symbol and character information. You have multiple players playing, but they only give you information on the symbols and characters in a flimsy rule book. So that means players have to pass around the rule book to see what the characters do or what symbol is which and so on which will wear out the rule book. It couldn't be that difficult to make player guides for all the players to pass out to each other. But in the end it was a small set back and not horrible enough to ruin the game for me. I did enjoy the solo mode of this game and find it interesting that unless you play with four players you will always have AI players operating in the game. I definitely would recomend this game.

Carson City the Card Game

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Carson City the Card Game is a fun auction game that works surprisingly well even with two players. You must have four players to play so I'd you have less, you use dummy players to fill out the table. Normally I don't think this works well, but in this game it's easy to use and yet provides team competition for the live players. I love the puzzle aspect of how to lay the tiles out to create your town. This one has played differently every time.
