Terra Mystica: Mini Expansion 1

If you like Terra Mystica this this is a needed expansion. It is small, but adds more variety to each race.

More Terra Mystica? Yes, please! Nothing wrong with that.

Adds a nice bit of variation. Be sure to find the rules online with the publisher as the expansion did not come with rules. The unique powers for each faction tile are an interesting way to spice up the game.

Absolutely love that I was able to find this at a reasonable price. The only reason for 4-stars is that this cardboard sliver came in a 6 x 5 x 4 box or about that size. It was slightly too small and the whole side had been bent in to fit and it slightly bent one of the edges of an actual piece. A lot less damage than it looked like it would of caused. There was also bubble wrap. I appreciate that, but not the stuffed effect. Why it wasn't shipped in a flatter box or a bubble mailer with cardboard stints is beyond me. Overall no effect on playability so not a big deal. Thanks Miniature Market, y'all always have the hook-up on promos without crazy markups!

When expansions add more of the thing you like about a game, that's a good expansion in my book. This expansion adds further diversity and uniqueness with each faction. You now have the ability to place special landscape tiles which count as a 1 power structure which can help you score towns. Try playing a game of Terra Mystica on Board Game Arena with this expansion before buying - you will surely want to own it after trying.
