Nomads have a long, upstanding tradition of Remote use in military and civilian settings. Corregidor has perfected Remote technology as applied to ship maintenance and EVA tasks. Bakunin engineers make liberal use of Remotes to crash-test new technologies and interfaces, and only bother to find military or commercial applications for the ones that survive the process. The vibrant hacker scene of Tunguska values Remotes as an untraceable method of deployment for support hardware.

Fantastic

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

CB's first venture into siocast (the Vostock Remote I think) had some hiccups, but they corrected them. This round is fantastic. The details are crisp and clear. The mold lines are entirely on flat surfaces or corners that are easy to cut away with a sharp hobby knife. They take superglue and primer exceptionally well. Where metal models will get chips in the paint, these don't. I love what CB is doing with siocast. I know that some players don't like the lightweight, but it means that storage is much easier and they won't crush other models if you drop them.

Siocast Zonds

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

My first siocast models, and its definitely different than the metal. The legs on one of the bots are warped so they don't all reach the ground which is probably fixable, but doesn't bother me enough to do anything about it. Easy to assemble - certainly easier than the old metal Zonds - and they look great.

Cute little robots, broken in box

Average rating of 3 out of 5 stars

I had two issues with these little drones. First, several legs came broken, in a small box with plenty of padding. I'm not sure how they were broken, but some super glue solved it. The second issue was a strange fit trying to put the legs together in the correct orientation shown in box. I decided to place the head 90 degrees from it's normal alignment on the legs, and that worked much better. Still good detail, plastic miniatures.
