The Dragyri are one of the oldest sentient races ever to inhabit Samaria, thousands of years before humanity even knew of the planet's existence. They have toiled in its rocks as slaves, hidden in its catacombs as refugees, and conquered its wild places as warriors. The Dragyri are tied to Samaria in ways modern science cannot possibly understand, and they defend their claim upon it with bitter tenacity and unyielding strength.
A combination of hulking powerful Trueborn warriors and mystics, fast yet expendable slaves, and more unique forces, the Dragyri are led to battle by their Arbiters - powerful beings that have won the right to command by challenging their predecessors. Although divided into distinct Castes based on each Dragyri's elemental prowess, the species as a whole answers to the commands of a single Grand Arbiter, a leader amongst leaders. Whether infused with the worship of Air, Ice, Fire, Earth, or Shadow, all Dragyri fight for the empowerment of the whole.
The Ice Castes seeks cold, vengeful return to glory. The Fire Caste's legendary rage burns hotter each day. The Air Caste shifts and bends the old traditions, forgiving Those-Without-Honor. The deceitful and once-mythic Shadow Caste has emerged from the depths, and the Earth Caste continues to ignore the outside world. The Dragyri have not been so chaotically disconnected in millennia.
