A Gripping Descent into Eldritch Horror
Arkham Horror is a fun board game set in the Lovecraftian universe. Players work together to solve mysteries, gather clues, and face otherworldly entities. Each session feels unique due to the high variation of characters and their skills; however, the game is scenario-driven which, from my experience, never offers high replayability. After all, one always solves the same mystery over and over again... The game has cooperative gameplay with mechanics that are somewhat complex but rewarding. The complexity might pose a challenge for newcomers, requiring some time to grasp the rules fully. Finally, it is worth noting that the components are of high quality. In particular, the game features well-designed investigator cards with nice thematic artwork.

Great game revisited
Arkham Horror is a phenomenal game and I like the new artwork for many of the cards in this edition as well as some of the new tokens. I would only buy this if you are new to the game or only have a single core set and are trying to duplicate the good cards from the core set.

Worth the price, whether you're new or a veteran!
If you've ever been curious enough to get into the Arkham Horror LCG, this is the way to do it. Everything you need to play with up to four people, new artwork, upgraded tokens, a bag to keep the Chaos tokens in, and the best part - incredible storage. For the people who already have the older core game and/or everything else, it's largely your situation. I found myself increasingly upset at the original storage problem for the game. The old core boxes are terrible for storage and even with a Folded Space for two of them, I still hated how it was all situated. Granted, you don't need this thing at all, especially if you have everything anyway. It's worth mentioning that all the other expansions will come with this style of box eventually, meaning storage is largely fixed. I depended on the Go7Gaming Return to... storage to organize everything and that's still certainly a great way to do it! I say that if you have everything, get this and start your uniform collection by giving away your old stuff to a friend!

The definitive introduction to the AH:LCG
The definitive introduction to the core experience of the Arkham Horror LCG. The prebuilt decks leave something to be desired, but there are enough extra cards included that you can put together decks that perform reliably throughout the included mini-campaign. The campaign itself is fun enough. I played through it 5 times with the core characters, just enough to get a feel for all the cards, before expanding my card pool with the Investigator expansions.

Easy to get into!
I have stayed away from LCG’s due to their long term commitment but the theme and gameplay drew my partner and I in for this one. The rulebook is well laid out and we can finish a scenario in one night. Love it!

to buy or not to buy?
Revised core set is almost the same as buying 2 old core sets, who really needs the core set? if you are fresh entering the arkham horror LCG, because the extra space and extra cards will be really valuable for you, plus all the new tokens and the chaos bag included, if you already got several cycles on your belt it might be a pass, since you already got way more cards for deck building with was the biggest limitation in the old core set.

Excellent card game
The deck building and campaign aspects of this game make it something special. This is also the best way to get into the game

First time into an LCG
Love the theme, mechanics, extra cards, bountiful tokens, fits sleeved cards. If you want to start diving in, then this is what you need to buy!

Quick & Sloppy Review
Fantastic game & atmosphere. Playing through the core box with strictly starter decks provides for a tense experience with things going good to bad to awful real quick. The core box scenarios remind me heavily of the original Resident Evil video game, with scarce resources and a feeling of uncertainty as you will never know what you'll draw from the encounter deck. The weakest point of this game is the random draw of cards. I can see how it can be frustrating to some but with solid deck building and smart plays it can help mitigate the chance even in dire situations. Well designed and if you are a new player (like me), this is the perfect opportunity to jump in.
