Marvel Champions LCG: Thor Hero Pack

Marvel Champions is a fun card game. Being able to add additional heroes adds more depth and variety to the game.

Thor is a very minion focused hero out of the box. He will be best in multiplayer games where there are the most minions to engage. Outside of that, he probably won’t be as much of a star. The design is solid but he is more of a specialist than an all rounder. This can lead to him feeling less functional if you are a solo player. All that considered, worth adding to your collection - especially if you can get it for a good price!

I liked playing, but need more aggression cards to make it better.

Thor is good. But you need some other packs to get the most out of him. He benefits greatly from Unshakeable and Limitless Stamina but you need to find them elsewhere.

The cards are great. The designs in the drawings, apart from being expansions for the game, are very nice as part of a collection of Marvel cards.

Cards were cut cleanly, and Thor is a fun character to play. A great addition to your Marvel Champions set if you like Thor!

Thor is not like the Hulk in power but he is the only hero in the comics that can stand toe to toe with the Hulk. I think this deck is the only one to have fallen short. That said, he isn't bad, he just doesn't play as I expected him to play. Don't pass on him.

Thor comes to the table hard and makes a mess, just like he does in the movies and comics. His pack not only brings another great hero, but a super interesting nemesis and great cards all around. Just keep in mind he is difficult to play, but that doesn’t make him less great than any other hero. You will want to tweak his preset deck at the very least though. His pack expands the aggression pool with some goodies, even if some of them are currently less versatile than I would like. Seriously though, Under Surviallnce for the Justice aspect is the bomb.

Overall a must have expansion, my only disappointment was Stormbreaker is not in the deck :(
