Burrowing through the Void between worlds, these massive worm-like creatures are as ancient as time itself! Over the eons, they grow ever larger, expanding in size and form, writhing and twisting with grinding teeth and masses of tentacles beyond reckoning. When one of these gargantuan beasts escapes the Void and finds its way into reality, it begins to burrow through rock, and stone, and flesh; creating expansive tunnels and feeding on all life. It is drawn to the power of the black rock...wherever Dark Stone is collected in massive quantities, Burrowers will soon be to follow. Lured from their restless slumber by the magik of the stone, they devour entire worlds to feed their abyssal hunger.

The Purple Worm makes his appearance in the Old West.
When I played D&D one of my favorite monsters was The Purple Worm. Character had two choices when facing The Purple Worm. Fight as a team and hope Lady Luck is smiling on you, or try to outrun the other characters in your party and escape. Player Characters usually ended up as worm food. Well Shadows of Brimstone's Burrower is an Old West take on that classic monster. The model is huge compared to your heroes size, the rules are fun and easy, and the model just looks fantastic.
